Hall's Creek Kayaking

Since Clearwater Dells resides on Hall’s Creek, it is quite natural to start there. However, Hall’s Creek also offers the nearly-perfect trifecta of kayak legs that support the Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced paddlers within the three different legs. It also has a nice combination of varying paddle times, from an hour up to over three hours on individual legs that synchronize quite effectively with the varying skill levels. The downside: the Advanced leg sits in between the Beginner and Intermediate legs, so a beginner will most likely not want to start with the entirety of Hall’s Creek for an initial trip.

Hall’s Creek is known as “The Little Dells Up North”, making reference to the beautiful rock formations similar to those seen in the Wisconsin Dells, but in a miniaturized and more intimate setting.

Beginner: Kayak from Clearwater Dells to the Hall's Creek Canoe Landing at the Black River
